Dear Friends,

Saying goodbye is never easy, and to say goodbye to a lifetime of dear, loyal, and supportive friends is next to impossible.  We wanted to let you all know how very difficult this is for us to leave behind such a community of good friends, but, also a lifestyle that has been ours to share with our children, our grandchildren, and also, people who have touched all of our lives.

It has been our hope right up to the end, to find people who would be able to carry on this very unique business for all of you to keep on sharing.  In fact, we keep that hope until it is time for us to leave.

We thank all you for your patronage, support, and caring for all the horses who have lived here at Smoke Run and have been part of our family.  We take with us so many heart-warming memories of all of you, and those memories will sustain us for all our lives. You have been part of our Smoke Run family, and have made our farm the great place it has been.  We hope that you also will have many wonderful and joyful memories.  Most of all, we hope that your learning experience, and growing up with the horses stay with you always.  Be happy, stay safe, and healthy, and keep riding.
